Erica Lapadat-Janzen

All work, unless specified, was created by Erica Lapadat-Janzen.

Erica Lapadat-Janzen is an interdisciplinary artist/curator currently living and working in Vancouver, BC. She is a recent graduate of the Emily Carr University’s  Visual Arts program.  Erica curates and organizes arts events that create exposure for emerging artists, and contribute to the changing art scene in Vancouver. She is the idea woman behind C A M E R A / W H O R E, No pun intended, and SPREAD. She also actively participates in the online art community and screenshots everything.

Erica actively participates in  solo and group exhibitions on and offline. Her work and mediums are in a constant state of flux, although she is currently focused on net art, digital collage, and video work.  She focuses on topics ranging from social media as performance to sexuality in online communities. Much of her work could be considered humorous although if you ask she will say “I am NOT funny.” As the self proclaimed founder of Froth wave Feminism, she plays with genderfuck, bodily humour, and hypersexual glitching. She is currently working on being more tangible.

  1. After feeling uninspired and started browsing the web, I stumbled upon your site….
Dig the overall energy and feel I get from your site….so you write?

Just in the midst of expanding my network with other creative left -brainers in this city.

    • Glad you enjoy it. 🙂
You have some amazing stuff yourself.
If you wanna check out my poetry, click the “bad poetry” link in my tags.
I also have an essay or two on here.

Feel totally free to add me on facebook; I’m slightly addicted.
